Transferring Money

I used regularly accept cash from local people as payment for RSGP. Long story short: I left and they (one in particular) still want to buy.

My main customer has:
-no checking account
-no paypal

How safe is it to have him send cash by mail? What methods would make that safer?

Also, is there any fee for Money Pak? Would he simply have to buy cards and tell me the codes?

Something else I was considering was having him directly deposit to my bank. I trust him quite a bit (we've both gone first to each other for ~$800), I'm not sure I'd trust him with my account number, so this would be a last resort.

why? what could he possibly do with your account number? imo go ahead with it.

 

You could try to use WesternUnion

 

he could give cash to be deposited into an account and he can't do anything with just the account number unless he knows your pin or try W/U and maybe try contacting viou to ask about mail.

 

Have him send cashiers check in mail. Cash it at your bank then give him gold. Simple =).

 

Western union or money order

 

I've received cash by mail, now mail can be lost.

Recommended for this method:

Get a FedEx security envelope and one of their quick shipping methods.

 

1) Use Western Union.
2) Have him send by mail, but let him purchase a money order instead of sending cash and have him insure the mail.
3) MoneyPak has a monthly fee, but other than that yeah he simply just tells you the codes.

For now, he's just paying ahead a few hundred when I come through town in a couple weeks, but after that he'll probably be doing mail.

 

moneygram for sure.
it's at any walmart.
He goes to any walmart, gives them your name/address and the cash.
they give him a code.
he calls you with the code.
you go to any walmart, give them the code and your drivers license.
they give you the CASH.

I think moneygram is at cvs pharmacy too.
I bet google has all of the locations.

I agree with him. In my opinion, either this or WU are the safest ways.
