    Turned out that the hard drive both died, I can't prevent that from happening.

    Windows = I do defrags twice a week.
    Mac = who defrags their Mac?

    Really? It's just inserting the OS install disc and it'll be done in half an hour. The thing is that Apple wants you to overpay to fix it. They wanted me to pay $170 to replace the 250GB 5400RPM drive. I'm like, "Screw it!" and bought a new one myself for $50 and did the replacement myself.
