Your best bet is to strike a conversation up, bumping into her seems like it's your best bet, considering you only see her one time in a whole day.

Yea, it sucks that I can't see her more. I'm always looking around for her, but just never seems I can find her. And when I do happen to find her, most of the time she might be with a friend or something. Would it be strange, if I was walking by her, and told her that she had nice hair and it looked cool. Don't say her hair, that sounds lame, complement something she might be wearing or have, such as her shoes, phone etc,
Just try to be as nonchalant about it, try to keep it zen,
You don't want to come off as a goob.

Honestly dude, If you don't even know her name or don't get to talk to her at all, I'd just focus on another girl. Unless you're willing to go up to her without caring what her friends may think, then I'd focus on another girl.

 

I gotta agree with this kid. I've had many gf's in the past who loved it when I wrote them little notes with random thoughts, or poems, or just something funny. You slip it into their hand or their pocket when you see them without saying much at all and they open it later and most of the time it really makes their day I guess this works better with girls that you are already seeing though..

But I think it would be a cool idea to slip a random girl a note with something witty and funny on it, or something that they would hopefully think is cute and see where that leads you. Haven't tried this trick with a random for many years though so who knows.

 

But if all else fails, you could always use the subway line...

Boy: "Hey girl! Whoaaaaa!! Is this subway??"

Girl: "Huh?" *raises eyebrows*

Lets see, your in highschool, and all kids go to parties or other events outside of school. Theres your chance to get to know her, and just be like "Hey don't you go to my school, I see you around there sometime whats up?"

Just say hi? Small talk. Do you share any classes with her? Do you see her in a certain class? Just find something common with her and talk about it from there.
