Need help with server info

seen this post on craigslist looking to buy a server to host a shit load of bots for runescape gold farming. would anyone know if this is a good price for something like this? also how many bots (approximately) could i run?

This is a Supermicro server build by Penguin computing. (Relion 2600SA)
It is complete except for drives.

$250 cash, local pickup only, in Norfolk near ODU/Granby St.

Case is irrelevant unless it's super small... I mean, you should pay attention to how many built in fans it has but with this machine... I don't know
Processor is outdated and really only worth like 35-40 dollars.
DDR2 RAM is outdated, and 4GB isn't sufficient enough for more than I'd say 2-3 bots, 4 max.
700W power supply is decent if it has rails.
Never heard of Adaptec RAID 3805, I assume this is the graphics card..


To sum up: No. I don't think it's worth 250 dollars, you can buy a laptop for this price that's twice as useful

 

No, you won't run hardly any bots with this. I would expect to see a maximum of like 10 bots and that's being generous. All the hardware is from like 2006 and it's incomplete if it doesn't even have drives.. that'll add another $60-$100 (at least) to the cost.

Also, Mohtasa, that's a RAID card not a graphics card. It's a server not a PC lawl.

 

oooooh now I get it >.> I was wondering why he said "server" in the title, I thought that's just what he calls his botting machines :x
