    Ebay Secret - Misspell Ebay

    Misspell Ebay!

Many people list items on ebay. But, did you know that the title of the item is never spell checked unlike the item description?

So when people search on an item that they want, they normally spell it correctly and all the misspelled items are never found!
Using this guide i will help show you how to:

    1. Find misspelled items.
    2. Get daily notifications of any new misspelled items added.
    3. Use an easy way to snipe on ebay, Last second winning bid.
    4. Other secret tips for you.

    1. Find misspelled items.

You could sit for hours on end trying to type in each possibility of a spelling error manually, which would take days and you still probably would never find all the ways a word could be misspelled. So to make it easier use one or more of these misspelled item finders:

    http://www.auctionintelligence.com

    http://www.bargainchecker.com

    http://www.goofbay.co.uk

Now all you have to do is type in the CORRECT spelling of the item you would like to find and these programs will search all fo ebay for any variation of the name you have typed in.

Here is an example of http://www.auctionintelligence.com, as stated above:

This is what the page looks like when it opens the search:

I would suggest that once you have found the item you would like to watch the item, by clicking [IMG]. There is no point rushing off and making a bid as this will only increase the final amount if someone else bids on the item.

However, if the item is at a low bid, lets say $0.99 but the item is worth a whole lot more you may as well put a bit in for $1. (Tip: mose people will put in a bid of $1 so try and use an unusual bid such as $1.03 ect.)

    2. Get daily notifications of any new misspelled item added.

Ok, lets say you really want an item, you want to be the first to know about any misspelled same items that get listed, dont you? Absolutly!

Now you can constantly check yourself. But wait, you dont need to do that.
All you have to do is save your misspelled items as a "Favourite Search" (See Image Below) in ebay and ebay will automatically inform you when a new misspelled item is added, Wonderful, don't you think?

3.Use an easy way to snipe on ebay, Last second winning bid.

Ok, what sniping basically means is that you place a last second bid on an item and snatch it right from under another potential buyer's nose. Therefore you win the item for yourself.

Here are some sniper programs that you can use:

    http://www.auctionsniper.com/

    http://www.bidnapper.com/

    http://www.snipeswipe.com/

Most of them let you have a free trial but do eventually charge various amounts. So you can try them if you like.

Wait! There is a simple way you can do it all by yourself!

    Here's how:
Find the item you want to snipe. View the item description and wait until the item is ending within say 5 minutes. Now open a new window in explorer. Simply look to the top of the screen and choose FILE, NEW, WINDOW. or simply Ctrl + N.

Open the NEW WINDOW you have just opened. Go through all the normal steps of placing a bid, even type in the amount you wich to bid, but DONT PLACE YOUR BID YET. STOP when you get to the page review where you comfirm your bid.

Now go back to the original window that you had open that shows the item descriptio and use your REFRESH button, top of the screen, or simply press F5. Now keep doing this until the item is ending in 20 seconds or less, if you can handle it.

Once you decide that it is the right time to bid, go back to the second window (The one that has your bid typed in) and click COMFIRM BID. you have saved precious seconds because you didnt need to go through the process of getting to the Review and comfirm bid page!

Now you will most likely get the winning bid and the item is yours!

    4. Other secret tips for you!

Many people have discovered the secret of misspelled items, but think about it, they are all looking for different items so there is many misspelled items to go around.

One thing you could do is deliberately misspell a word in your item description. This would mean that it will show up to all the misspelled bargain hunters too!

If you think you have made a bargain but not 100% sure a simple way to check is to click Advance Search from any ebay page. You will find it at the top right hand corner.

At keyword search type in the word of an item, ie, Nokia E65, Now almost directly underneath you will see a tick box, COMPLETED LISTING ONLY.

Select this and then scroll to the bottom of the page and choose [IMG].

Ebay will now show you all the Nokia E65 items that have recently ended. You will see that the items have the price on the right. When you click on the item it tells you whether or not it sold. You will now know an average price for how much a Nokia E65 is selling on ebay. Make a point of always checking any item this way so you neber pay too much for an item again!

I hope this guide helps you out.

Don't worry about advertising, it's a great guide!
I love your use of color, formatting, and pictures, great!

A small tip. When you give the "snipe it yourself" tutorial, remember that if someone outbids the complete order screen that you have open, your chances are virtually gone!
Other than that, it's very helpful, i had no idea about misspellings! Thanks!

I've heard about this before and never works for me. Maybe it's just the items I am buying are hard to find misspelled.

Good guide! Clear to read, good formatting..
This reminds me of my dissapointment on eBay last year! Tried to buy a bracelet, bid'd in the last 5 minutes or so, but someone else bided straight after! Darn.

This is actually pretty brilliant, thanks a lot. Whenever I get around to getting a real PayPal, I'll probably use this! Hopefully I can snipe some awesome PC components or something :p
