    Which one is better? I need something to use to train strength until I get my rapier.

    I would personally go for the dragon scimmy out of preference.

    I don't like the sara sword that much. I find it quite inaccurate at times and it is two handed.

    The defender will add an extra str bonus with the scim but the sara sword has a higher str then both of the defender and scim combined.

    D scimmy w/ D defender vs. Sara Sword
    Sara sword has more Strength bonus but the D Scim/Defender combo has more Attack and Defence bonus. I'd probably use Scim/Defender because I've never been a huge fan of the Sara Sword.
