Edited/ removed messages have a little icon showing that it's edited/ it says that message has been removed, so it could be made that if this happens the proof becomes invalid.

 

Lym, you are wrong. In some countries most of the people are using Skype only.

You're wrong, more people have email accounts to use with Live than Skype accounts.

I support.. Clearly theres something that shows its edited, and if it is edited then it should'nt count as proofs, that simple.

 

I'd would be better to film the whole trade like with camstudio or something and editing names in that way there is the whole trade not just a part of it in a more detailed way

 

Wacky, I am right, and how it is insecure? Live is insecure, many people are getting their emails hacked.

 

Considering Sythe users had to register an email to their Sythe account, you're assured of members having an email account. There is nothing suggesting that all Sythe members have a Skype account or want to associate their Skype account with Sythe.

As for the insecure bit, I was referring to the fact of how logs are maintained/edited that almost everyone on this thread has pointed out.

Although yes, it would be ideal if everyone had an @hush account, over other email accounts.

 

The logs can not be faked, you see if member edited something and you can not edit something later, you edit it instantly or do not edit it at all.

I suggest it only for OMM application proofs, nothing else.

 

I agree if it's un-editable and such. But i dont think it is. As annoying as it is, MSN is the way to go.

Suggestion: Get the coders on Sythe to make a chat application SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED for Sythe.org trading? I think that would be pretty cool...

Also, I don't really like to give out my Skype to random people I'm trading with. I use it mostly for talking to family/close friends, not some douche online who wants to scam me out of $75.

I'd have to agree, this would make thing's simpler. You cannot edit the logs(and if you do it show's it to the right with a pencil(if edited) or a trash can(if removed). Bottom line is, this would be good, since everyone is claiming that their MSN's have been hacked.

Moreover, you can simply just block the other skype user.

And Administrators will not create a Sythe MSN, when there are more popular ones.

 

People who are getting their MSN's hacked either are infected or aren't using a safe domain. example: Hushmail.

If msn's get hacked, so can your skype account.

 

It's not even something I would be willing to give out to anyone I don't personally know. I would not enjoy blocking people when I log on to Skype. Lets just say Skype is not the first chat client I think of when I want to do an online trade.

 

Live recovery system has issues, that's why their accounts gets hacked.
You don't have to be infected to loose your MSN account. It can be a hush one, does not matter, because you still need to register on hotmail/live with it, it just makes it easier to recover it.

About Skype, it can not get hacked if you set up all the information and if your password/email are secure.

Let's stop talking about security, the point is OMM application.

Moreover, people you would still be able to use MSN, I just want a Skype option added, because I am using it always.
