RiD vs. RSbuddy [Test]

How can you compare these, that is obvious who wins...

RiD. 'nuff said.

 

RSbuddy might be more efficient, while RiD might have a lower banrate.

I am not only comparing banrate, but how well the bots work in matter of efficiency

RiD = Best bot out there... Only bot I have/will ever use on my main.

 

RiD is the only bot I use on my main, I've suicided one straight week of herblore with no bans. It's the best bot out there!

 

This should be nexus/rid, rsbuddy only has like 2-3 good scripts, and clients ain't anything special, cant even call it good.

I remember when even RSbot was a good client, botted 12M gp on f2p with it, and 2 99's on p2p with it. Lol good old times

OP: good luck man, i'd like to see which one levels faster and if RiD gets banned slower or not

 

I've used 3 of (arguably) the top bots for RS - I botted 1-80 str with RSBuddy, 1-99 WC with RSbots and 1-82 mining with RiD. No bans whatsoever! I also suicide bot pretty much 24/7 :love:

I used to dabble with SCAR scripts as well... Man, the amount of times I'd come home and find my bot stuck in a random was hilarious... Amazingly, I never got a ban!

I'm currently using Rsbots & Rsbuddy - RiD stopped detecting ores for me, so I can't use it atm. I know it's supposed to be highly secure, but I dislike the fact that it takes over my mouse.

I used Epicbot for a while, which worked fine... But I heard a bit too many stories about people suspiciously losing their accounts after using it for a while. Not just kids who downloaded infected .exe's from Youtube, these were folks who'd used the official client and knew how to keep their comps secure.

Anyway, I'll keep an eye on this. Will be interesting to see the results. Only thing is, as others said, it often comes down to luck. You *might* get a ban using RSbuddy, whereas another 10 people might run both without any issues whatsoever.

Edit: Just to add - I think Rsbuddy, Rsbots and RiD are all solid choices. I'm still constantly amazed whenever I watch my bots solve any randoms thrown at them

 

Just @ those who maybe don't know, there are good tuts on the RiD forums about setting up a virtual box on your computer so you can use your mouse/other applications while RiD is running.

 

I've used RiD and RSBuddy, I prefer RSBuddy because it has better scripts and its free scripts run great.

 

RiD is extremely old. But.. the technology of RsBuddy surpasses it easily

 

I do prefer RiD over RsBuddy. Only thing that sucked was scripts took a while to make. But he puts every inch of time to make sure they run perfect. Never had problems at all even botted an account with over 21 santas. Only trust RiD for that kind of account.
RsBuddy is better when it comes to free scripts when they are pretty good and alot of scripts to choose from.
RiD is a solo scripter so you know.

I haven't use RiD so far, and in fact is this thread was the first time i heard of it, could could someone give like pros and cons of it?

 

Pros:
0% banrate if following the guidelines. After three years no player have been banned following the guidelines, and very few has been banned even though they broke them.

Unique styles - Every bot has 1 billion different training styles. Therefore no two bots act the same.

Blackbox security - The code is stored safely at RiD's servers, so Jagex cannot analyze the bot.

AI - The bot uses Artificial intelligence instead of working to a script.

No client - The bot works using Jagex's official client or trough the webpage, making it look even more like a real player.

Human mouse movements - The bot really looks like a real human, the mouse moves as smoothly as a real player would.

Auto talker - the bot can handle conversations with other players, to avoid reports. The conversations are then stored so the bot user can look at what has been written.

One man behind it all - There is only one man creating these bots, so you are at no risk for being keylogged/losing your account.

Probably much more, but that is what I could think of atm

Cons:

Takes over the mouse - You cannot use your computer while botting unless you run it in a virtual machine. (It is easy to install a VM and there are flawless guides for doing so. People have even created Virtual Machines just for running RiD bots)

Randoms - RiD bots only support ~50% of the randoms at the moment.

User friendly - It might take you ~30 minutes to set up the bot the first time, but when you know what to do it only takes max 2 minutes.

Selection - You can NOT train the following skills with RiD:
Summoning, slayer, Runecrafting, firemaking, farming, hunting and dungoneering.

 

RiD will win, 'nuff said.
