Do bots run better when minimized?

Was wondering. If I start up a Nexus client or Rsbuddy client and start running a bot. Would it be easier on the CPU if it was minimized? Or is it the same as if I were watching it?

 

Well, first, can't you test it yourself?
Second, I'm pretty sure it's not, but there are other things you can do to minimize CPU usage such as the Less CPU options on RSBuddy, changing the global settings on Nexus, and fiddling with the task manager

 

It doesn't lag for me when it's minimized and im running multiple bot clients.

Minimizing it makes no difference. Most GOOD bots, will have an application-controlled " Use less CPU ".

 

i only run 3 bots, and when i have them minimized they usually run more smoothly then having all 3 of them opened up, so yes i think there is a little bit of a difference

 

It is easier on the computer because your computer doesn't have to work as hard to keep the screen updated.

 

Yes, Marshall said it right, When i Use to run bots minimizing them usually made them all run smooth then having them all open on one screen, unless you have a 1337 computer.

 

I just put the "global settings" tab and leave that on.

It is probably better to have the bots minimized due to the graphical updating like Marshall said.

 

Just use the less CPU. Only the one that makes your screen go less detailec though.

I really only minimize it to hide what I do I don't think it improves performance much, just a tad
