Death, what do you think happens?

Nothing you die. The end

 

Your mind goes into a dream state right before you die to shield you from the mass amounts of pain, then you stay in the dream state forever. Possibly reincarnate.

 

Your body experiences entropy, and so does your brain. And since it's my belief that every decision you make in life, every personality trait you have, every reaction to environmental stimuli depends on the chemical activity in your brain, you irrevocably cease to exist.

 

Two options:
Blank nothingness
Eternal --something--

 

go to heaven if there is one :/

 

I think you go into a ghost version of this world, just for ghosts and get to game and stuff still haha

 

My theory:

First some background info - DMT is a drug that is found in nature. It is also the substance that your mind gives off (or "trips on") while sleeping/Lucid dreaming/Out-of-body experiences (hence why people say they've "seen god" during near-death experiences = DMT activating).

I think that once you die, right before your brain shuts down/whatever, your body gives off as much DMT as possible putting you into a DMT trip. Now, time is just an illusion/dimension. As a dimension, we can be easily warped/tricked into thinking 1 second is 1 minute, etc.

When you die, your body trips on DMT for like 2-3 seconds, but it feels like an eternity, hence "heaven" in religions, etc.

Bam.

 

You wake up an infinite number of years later.
Anyone get this?

 

I had an very intense conversation with an atheist and he made me realize that even though i don't agree with him when your dieing your brain releases all of its chemicals and you can get the illusion of a "light at the end of the tunnel" experience. So near death experiences are kind of bogus. Although i support the heaven theory but just want to bring up this point.

I actually like to believe in some sort of re-incarnation.

 

Honestly I believe that when I die, my mind shall float free, and I'll be able to understand everything that the confines of a solid entity prevents one from realising.

Couldn't have said it any better myself.. I plan on trying DMT with a few friends next summer.. They've all done it multiple times its gonna be my first. I've heard its short but amazing.

 

I'm tired so bare with me lol.

I think that based on your life, the way you lived it. Your soul will either:

1. Be lost in a dark abyss for eternity (Hell without fire or conscious thoughts)
2. Or be placed in another body to live another life.

That's my opinion

 

Death would be the same feeling as when you are asleep.

Time to time I have been thinking about death, what are feelings when you are close to death and afther death, just an emptyness or new life, something like that.

 

Im going with the fact that we just dont know. Our body will experience physical death, but who knows the soul might continue. Either, try not to think about it too much. Life is too short to spend time worrying.

 

I honestly believe in nothing yet. I've debated on this stuff for awhile, but there are flaws in everything other then just being in a.. Nothingness. Everything is down in your body, everything is gone.
-- But I am still interested in things like this, though I'm only fourteen. I read topics like these on bigger forums, that is meant for debates like this.

 

Reincarnation is your best bet, someone dies > someone's born.
We're created by semen, thus bringing up the question 'why can't this happen again, It's already happened before?'

We're put on the earth to reproduce, It's a cycle, no reproduction = no life

 

your consciousness is destroyed along with your brain.

all you are and every memory you have is stored within your brain.

once you are dead, you do not exist anymore.

you cannot be reincarnated in any sense other than having your matter become another person eventually.



I will state again, you are erased when your brain decays.
you cannot be reincarnated because everything that is you, your whole identity decays along with your brain.
