Definitely worth the wait for a Cooler Master HAF 932 imo. Will have to take some more pics & diagnostics when you're done I'd really like to see :love:

I plan on taking step by step pictures of the entire build, from start to finish (as I've been doing) -- And I'll be sure to post diagnostics once I get everything finished. Hopefully I get the Chassis Monday or Tuesday, I'll tear down my current build probably the day after so I can salvage some parts, and then I'll go from there. Will quite possibly be inactive for a few days while the build completes (May pop in from time to time from laptop/ipad)

Tons and tons of builders run benches which in all honestly isn't that much different from using a motherboard box, especially if you just want to do a test boot to make sure nothing is fucked. I don't understand your hostility about everything.

 

Two reasons to run on a mobo box/mobo tray w/e you got lying around.
To test it work and why the hell not use your new PC straight away?

 

Because I already have a working PC, and in order to fully test the new one, I'll have to pull parts from this one, which I'm not going to do until I can complete the build.

I spent $800.00 on my last gaming rig, using a lot of the same parts you did. Which size monitor did you go with?

 

Oh if I were here earlier I would've suggested to get a 1155 socket CPU/mobo or just wait for the 2011 since 1366 should be replaced by it.. It's still a good rig you got there!

You shouldn't need to upgrade the CPU for 2years at the minimum, unless you feel like blowing cash.
GPUs at the 8***/7**series or w/e they'll be called IMO.

 

Please tell me, why you need this? Are you planning to run bot army?

 

I need/want this because I'm a tech freak and a gamer. I want the best of the best, or at least something close to it. Building this PC brings me joy and entertainment.

Lol i'm not stupid. The liquid cooling system I'm going to be using has thermal paste pre-applied, and I also bought extra just in case I needed it.

 

Liquid cooling, ooh la la!

 

Man I'd throw that together in like an hour or two. Why are you dragging it out so long? I would be excited.
