That's just ridiculous. Everyone has a right to there opinion, and that's just power abuse. Probably gonna get banned for this, but that's just too far.

 

Don't quote me but I think somewhere Sythe said that admins can ban people for personal attacks.

 

It wasn't a personal attack, it was a reasonable post. Granted, Finn has a lot going on, and fairly he was upset. But that was no reason for a ban.

 

I agree to an extent, any user can do what Finn's doing now, there are no real restrictions [ at least that I'm aware of ].

On to the point, I too read the post, personally I didn't find it very abusive, if this had been a non staff member I think that nothing would have been done.

There have been times when Finn has been unreasonable, per example when he banned someone from the #IRC because he ' didn't like them '. Sometimes when people annoy you, you just ignore them.

It could be classified under the rule mentioned above about personal abuse, and in Finn's defence, there was no need to post that. Just because we share an opinion of someone, does not mean to say we openly post about it. I think the majority of sythe users have people they dislike.

So if someone is bad at spelling makes them suspicious and means that they are not trusted? i have the spelling of a 4th grader, yet if i was given the chance i'd be one of the most trusted members on sythe. Spelling doesn't really have anything to do with it....and i'm 18 as well.

So spelling really doesn't have anything to do with it.

To be honest, I trust someone with good typing habits over someone that types sloppily.
