Okay so I staked a 97 who had 80 attk 99 str 60 def 99 hp and 87 dung with rapier

I am 99 attk 97 str 99 def 98 hp 80 dung with rapier

I stake him first 10m for 5m, I had to 2x him, and I owned him

Then, I'm like Jagex Please... I did 20m for his 10m, and guess what I freaking lost, lol. BS!!!! Agreed?

W00T fate gave me another change I won 66m from a 2x maxed whipping, but I used rapier YAYAYAYAY!

this is true, even doe you might have higher stats there is kinda a strategy for staking there are plenty of vids and takes time to master it that's why you see lvl 90 fighting a lvl 126 and winning

 

The reason that somebody with stats that much lower then yours stakes is because they know that they can pull off the odd win and to compensate on losing a few because of their stats they tell higher people to 2x them. It works out quite well for them.

 

It is bullshit.

 

Those 10 hitpoints can really make a difference in the fight.

It seems like you're relying on luck rather than strategy to win. Believe it or not, staking isn't completely random. A lot of factors go into it. Although in this particular situation it seems like he got lucky instead of using strategy.

 

The odds are more than likely on his side when you 2x him lol. Def hardly matters as your using rapier anyways.

I've Always heard lower levels have an easier chance to max.

Whether or not thats BS is up to you to decide.

Btw, 20m isnt so bad - in the long run, its a drop in the bucket I've lost well over 500m boxing and 1b dicing

Total BS. I lost most of my cash staking today. A guy about that same level, except with 72 defense, while I'm 94 defense beat me in a rapier stake. Gf 255M (went all in). L0L...

99 str is the only stat that matters in a rapier fight and he had you on even ground there. If you wanted a clear cut advantage you should of boxed/armour/2h staked him.

Always stake to your advantage and never 2x someone who has a chance of winning
