How Do I Prevent Computer Noises When Botting? Help please!

I will try the air can thing. And I will not buy a new fan or spend over 10 dollars fixing this.

 

Good luck getting it to be quieter then.
The noise is the stock heatsink for the CPU ramping up to get rid of the extra heat when put under load..

 

Just found two buttons that reduce CPU usage for RSBuddy. In the settings tab there are two "Less CPU" bottoms, I press them both and the computer makes noise!

I don't know how to do this with Nexus though, anyone know how?

 

I have a laptop fan which I find helpfull, yes it creates noise but it cools it down before I start botting, so it doesn't usually hum overnight.

 

there is a less CPU mode in RSbuddy, U using that?
How old is your computer? My 10 year old makes loud fan noises all the time, so I keep it off.

The more workload on your PC the faster the hardware needs to run, the faster it runs the more heat it produces, the more heat it produces the more power will be put into cooling fans. So, try and get a well ventilated case, or a quieter system cooler, this way you can bot all you want and your PC will be as quiet as a whisper. Although there is always your electric bill to consider as well...

 

Take your computer apart and spray the computer with an air can. It might have dust, which could make the computer overheat faster, kicking on that fan. Or maybe just get a bigger processor.

 

He doesn't realise that it's the stock heatsink that's doing this, he either needs better airflow case or a new CPU cooler, which cost money.

 

You don't realize that I've already found a solution, and my posts, which I doubt you didn't, I don't want to spend money.

And why do people keep explaining the same thing over and over? I know why the fan turns on..

 

Sounds like the hard drive, try a new one. Also could be the fan, switch to liquid cooling.

 

Either try to reduce the cpu usage of your bots. Tweak your settings on NeXus. Or the most cost efficient way would be to buy a VPS.
