    Such the view that

    http://sythe.org/member.php?u=311687

Brings, Their location is set at: Posts 2,000.

I know post count means nothing, but I actually believed this for about 2 minutes and questioned on it based on the join date.

Actually is a non-direct scam attempt. This should be prohibited (if its not already).

I support, only because the location should be used as a location... not a way to deceive people - and I could see how it could confuse some.

In reality I look at their post count, not their location, so I was confused when n4n0 and Brain were talking about it in said person's thread. >_<

    I'm not at all deceived.

If someone tries to say in a thread that they have 2000 posts, or in their signature, or something like that, then yes that's deceptive. But in that area, it clearly contradicts itself and so it shouldn't matter. Just try to pay attention :p.

Ehhh, I don't think he should be infracted; a warning should suffice for now...

However, I support the notion to prohibit things like that.

It's just stupid to try to fool, so is to get fooled.

    Anyways, this shouldn't be allowed.

This is a form of scamming.

There's a possibility in someone believing this, which leads them to going first trading to them, (Post count may not be much, but a lot of people think it matters.)

It's false, and should not be allowed. Supporting the thread.

Not really. It may be malicious and thus if it happen (which is like never) is should just be removed. Unless it is happening a lot there is no need to cause a fuss over it. Just report the person and the staff will do what they see fit.

It's a form of "lying" then. You're giving an un-knowing user false information which can lead to scams.

It's meant to be used for "Locations", not random words & other things. That should be a rule.

Again. For things as petty as a locations box, there are no need for rules. It would be stupid to spell out rules for every single little thing as the list would grow massively wrong. General rule of thumb, if you are doing it to be malicious or it could be seen as malicious, it is against the rules. That is exactly what this clause is for:

It's completely a form of scamming. I already saw a guy that had a thread earlier that said something about, "500+ posts/50+ vouches" can do this service. I would of fallen for this at first glance if it hadn't been pointed out more than likely.
