    Sythe.org Development Changelog
    Given the constant mucking about going on behind the scenes lately, I just wanted to create a central repository for Sythe.org changes. This thread will list changes that are made throughout Sythe.org so we can keep track of them and so you, the users, can see what's going on. Not all of the changes we make are entirely evident, so this thread may help shed some light on some of the things we do!

    (Note: This thread is for site changes and development, not staff changes or promotions.)

    • Updated the QuickLinks Menu (9/13/2011)
      - Added a link to the Donation Center and fixed the Admin Control Panel link.
    • Updated the FAQ Navbar Option (9/13/2011)
      - Made the "FAQ" navbar option go to a FAQ thread instead of the default vBulletin FAQ list.
    • Rank Manager Update (9/13/2011)
      - Modified the rank manager to allow ranks to remote URLs, as opposed to local files.
    • Donation Rank Updates (9/11/2011)
      - Added a rank for the $300+ donation level and updated the $200 level rank. Also modified the rank text to say "$x+ Donator" instead of "$ Donator".
    • Rank Refresh and Updates (9/11/2011)
      - Redid all of the forum's ranks using a specific template and created new images for some of the ranks.

    I like this Matthew. I remember seeing these on some websites before. We currently keep track of Staff changes, so keeping a log of these will only make things more organized.

    Very useful and good idea. This helped back when I ran my own forums and it did get the public's attention and a great way to look at what has happened even if you weren't there when it happened. Always pulling up something new to Sythe.

    Amazing. I noticed FAQ was bugged when I clicked on it yesterday or the day before, so it's good to see that was addressed without even having to bring it up. Looks like your classes are especially boring this semester and you have a lot of free time, Matthew. :p
