Detailed description of the events that took place and why you disagree with the decision:

I logged into my account today after being away from the forums for a very long time and was genuinely shocked to see that my account had been given a DNT back in 2019. I had not been active on Sythe for years, so discovering this now caught me completely off guard.
After reading through the report, I understand that my account was linked to the account M3HM37, who is my older brother. Years ago we lived in the same household and therefore shared the same internet connection, which I can see may have caused the IP audit to show overlap between the accounts.

However, I want to be completely clear that we never worked together on Sythe and never affiliated our activities with one another. We each had our own accounts and operated independently. At the time we lived under the same roof it was obviously difficult to avoid sharing an IP address, but beyond that there was never any cooperation between us regarding trading or forum activity.

For several years now I have been living on my own and no longer share an IP with him. That situation only applied when we lived in the same household many years ago.

I also noticed it was mentioned that activity lines up with the time he was banned or DNT’d. From my perspective this was simply coincidence due to both of us using the forum around similar periods while living in the same home. I never used my account to evade a ban or assist him in doing so.

If I had any intention of doing something dishonest, realistically I could have just created a new account over the past several years. Instead, I logged back into my original account because I have always believed honesty is the right way to approach things.

Looking back at my history on the forum, I believe it shows that I always tried to provide a reliable and trustworthy service. Anyone I dealt with in the past can confirm that my trades were always handled fairly and professionally. I never had any intention of causing problems within the community.

I fully understand why the IP overlap may have raised concerns, and I do not blame staff for investigating it. At the same time, I respectfully feel that being permanently judged based on another person's actions even if they are family does not accurately reflect my own conduct.

I had actually logged in today because I was thinking about getting back into the OSRS Community once again, which has always been something I enjoyed as a way to relax and escape from real life stresses. Seeing the DNT after all this time was honestly disheartening.

I completely respect whatever final decision staff make, but I hope you can take the time to review my situation and consider that this may simply have been a misunderstanding caused by a shared household IP many years ago.

I appreciate the work the staff team does to keep the community safe. I simply hope my situation can be looked at as an individual case rather than as an extension of someone else's actions.
