Dks Pro Mage Trip

Hey guys. im looking to go to the dks and only kill rex. is this a good setup for gear? and my stats okay?

that should be fine, although fire surge+Sol+ASN+elite mage void is my setup of choice. Make sure to have a partner to help you setup correctly.

Do you already have a invy setup, or do you need help with that aswell?

 

Claws of guthix / Fire surge w/ staff of light would be better, but i guess you can use flames of zammy.
Lose ahrims top, Rex's mage defense is soo low that you hit 200+ all the time without mage bonus. Instead wear veracs top. Other than that. Looks fine to me

 

okay.. yeah i have full elite void should i use that? + sol and use surge?
also.. sw cape ?

 

Yes, and definately SW cape if your going to use SOL and surge

what about the inventory? i plan on having vecna in there too.

 

I would PM delta squad about it because I have never used elite void :S

 

You mite want to post a picture of what inventory you "think" is good so if there are any changes that need to be made someone can help you

Second set up is good for DKS, just need inventory setup.

 

Sorry but the elite mage void is shit for DKs. Use your original setup, but replace ah top with v brassy. You want the highest def and pray bonus possible to tank out the creatures in the water for hours while you kill the rex.

 

this, i don't ever miss with vhelm, torag top, veracs legs, obby shield.

fire spells are most effective too, and much cheaper.

Also, you can use burstinglobs cc, and dont need to bring rune thrown axes, you can shoot the door with mage spells.

Yip, or uni, would be benefital too.
