I've been looking for a new desktop, mainly just for everyday use, nothin special. This is the one I have been looking at: http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1004180&Sku=G180-13105
I would suggest building your own, just for the fact the parts in that PC are subpar. The price honestly isn't that bad, I put together the same PC (with better parts though) for roughly $480, so it isn't too far off but I guarantee the parts are better quality if you buy them separately and put it together yourself. :S
It's very easy and a good thing to know how to do. You can get help from people on sythe for what parts you should/need to get. Then for putting it all together you can check youtube videos.
I also have a guide in the guide section about building computers. It's easy, and I'm always willing to help. It's still a work in progress but it has all the basic things you need to know including a video guide on how to put everything together. It would save you money, get you better parts, and give you more knowledge and insight about computers, not to mention the experience gained from building your own PC.
