    Anything imaginable is possible.

Please don't read other's answers until you post, this is your own imagination and inspired by creativity.

I dream of this game. You log in by falling into a deep sleep, where you are virtually inserted into an alternate reality. Imagine Elder Scrolls, but as a virtual reality MMO. The entire world is filled with quests, professions, etc.
Reality fades into boredom. This game takes over everything. Jobs on the game pay for expenses on the outside world. The game's currency is a legal form on the other side.

You wake up, and grab your workbelt. You're a smither. It's a lonesome profession, but it pays the bills. The entire day is spent heating and smashing metal with a hammer. Soon, you'll level up and become better and better at what you're doing, and work towards making better weapons for even better customers. Soon you'll add elements and other effects that will assist in legendary battles that will be told for ages.

For the weekend, your plans consist of bow-hunting for the next week's meal and watching a duel at the Colosseum.

Dying once in this game resets your life. You don't have a reset. Once and done. This. is. life.

I would make a game where you can battle monsters and other players. A game that has kinda good graphics but the gameplay is what keeps players paying to play the playable game that gets payed by them. It would be called GameScape. when you die in this game all your stuff drops to the floor and other people can pick it up and keep it.

I would make a game based in space, the biggest one on earth, There would be planets you can explore with hostile creatures, the goal of the game is to gather resources for your own mini-planet and while you increase your level, your population and size grows, at the same time you could attack other peoples planet to steal resources from them, I wouldn't like it to be only spaceship based, It would have mechas, and you could fight personally with guns and lightsabers. etc. that's like my wet dream or something hahah <3

I had a plan to make one over 4 years ago. I LOVED skateboarding too death and was interested in it more than anything else so that's how I just wanted to make this. I had diagrams, papers, all the images made from my drawings and sketches etc. even drawings how the game would look like, the website layout and just everything. All I needed to do was put it to life. It was about skateboarding mainly and it was going to be a MMO as well with ability to challenge other players, have your own skatepark where others can check out. It would be all 3d of course. Thought it would be really fun. Found out I can't learn programming even though I tried hard and just failed at it and couldn't stick with it. Never bothered looking someone that did since I just didn't think it could go too far. Just closed up everything I made for it and left it behind. It wasn't only going to be about skateboarding as I was planning on expanding it to other additions. Forgotten about it till today.

Who knows if I find someone else thats interested in making it I could bring it too life since I still have all that shit locked up safely.

I also had another idea called "Chaos Planet" but that project never got far. Another one was "Snake Attack:". Don't want to post details of what they are about as they are pretty original from other games.

I'm sticking with writing movies for now.

I'd make it a 3d game fighting game sort of thing. Insane graphics with over 1 million polygons on everything. Fully destructible everything. You could fight anything you (other players if they accept)want except certain npcs. Like 500+ different weapons you can pick up(medieval, futuristic, and weapons of mass destruction just to name a few), and the ability to use any object in the game as a weapon or to perform numerous other tasks. Hundreds of different styles of armor that gives many different bonuses and can be upgraded and combined with other pieces of armor of weaponry. It would be like an RPG except there would be not a huge difference between high levels and low levels so there will be more balance in pvp. the player would also have the ability to wrangle any animal (if they can) and make it their pet. People would be able to drive, build, and own different vehicles from bicycles and submarines to tanks and jets with their own array of weapons. Everything would be built to scale.

The environment, which is still fully 3 dimensional, would include the earth and all it's buildings and geological structures as well as all of the known universe. All extremely detailed. Again you can interact with EVERYTHING. Of course, maknig things to this scale would have to mean there's some pretty unrealistic speeds involved with travel. Let's face it, nobody would want to sit in front of a screen for 12 hours just to drive from Chicago to New York. Nobody would have light years to spend traveling to other galaxies either. I'd think of like futuristic vehicles that go up to like 50x the speed of light.

Basically it would be a game you could make yourself a cup of coffee step by step or go out and fly to the Andromeda Galaxy in a star wars like ship and battle a huge monster on some planet.

    I got carried away

I would make a "Hunger games" type game. (battle with other players for survival), but do it all in a dream state so you actually need those skills irl to be able to do it ingame.

I would make a game that would secretly allow botting and the community would rely on them. I would also be the owner of it so I would spawn gold all the time and sell it. OH WAIT DID I JUST DESCRIBE RUNESCAPE?

I would make a PvP style game, with no "levels" as such, based on the same dynamics of WoW.
As you gained kills, your PvP ranking would go up, opening new areas and new items but also closing old areas. There would also be NPCs where you could obtain drops. These drops could be food, coins, potion ingrediants, armour or weapons.
Shops would be in certain areas, with vendors selling certain items. There would be no player to player trading, thus eliminating people from autoing.

As people would all have similar equipment in the same areas, the game would be based more on skill than who has the most cash
