Simple guide to find o if your computer is infected.

Noob Master here with a brief yet effective way to find out if you've been ratted.

Everyone hates viruses and RATS, but most people don't even know they have them.

Here are some tips to prevent hacking and ratting and spotting a virus quickly.

First thing you'd want to do is find out what program(s) open up when you first boot up your computer.

Right-Click your taskbar, which looks like this:

    And open task manager.

Check your processes and services tab and make sure everything looks right. If there's any programs that look weird, delete them with caution.

Another way to see what programs come up when your computer is turned on is by using CMD(Command Prompt)

Start Menu and search "Command Prompt"

Open it up and type the following:

    Code:
    cd %APPDATA% [Enter key]
After that you should get a next line which looks like this:

    Code:
    c:\users\(Your computer name here)\appdata\roaming>
    Now type this:
    Code:
    dir /A-D /B
You should come up with a list of programs.

Things that may be common are like rsbot.ini, multibot.ini, rsbuddy.ini, etc. If something looks out of place, delete it.

If you've done it right, it should look like this:

Next thing you should do is make sure you have a firewall. Most firewalls come when you buy Windows, but extra security is never a harmful thing. I use McAfee
McAfee - McAfee Limited Time Deals

But a good free is MalwareBytes
    Malwarebytes Special Offer!

There are other but this one should suffice.

Keep a good relationship with your virus protection system and run weekly scans.

Follow these steps and also don't forget to refrain from downloading files which end in .bat, .xml, .exe, and .rar. These files can be executed as programs and can harm your computer.

Really not be best guide to be honest. You could go into a little bit more detail about what "running processes" shoulden't be there
