Who Is The Most OG?

Shit I'm jealous. I love Miami. I have a lot of family and friends down there. I'm in Atlanta and it's pretty much all Bloods. I've been to Cali several times and it's just full of Crips.

 

When the term "OG" is used, its in reference to old-school hip hop artists who were particularly thug/hard/good/original/creative/pioneering. For example, I'd say that Mos-Def is certainly OG. Also wu-tang, mobb deep,Nas, dj premier, de la soul and mf doom are pretty "OG". They all are relatively old, and have put out some amazing albums. They don't get caught up in having to conform to the standards of major record labels.


Mussolini isn't a rapper. Shaddup. Lil wayne is a pussy, sorry. He put out a fucking rock album, and has a song called "show me how to love". Doesn't seem very "gangtsa". Jeezy's pretty soft too. Hard cats are like immortal technique, jedi mind tricks, gheto boys dmx etc. Also, living in miami doesn't mean you're an expert on rap music. It just means you have a coke connection and listen to reggaeton

^Never been to cali, but I have connects that live by me that import fire from cali, and it's oh so fireee, however, I've yet to seen a Crip walk the streets of Miami just str8 up reppin.

And i suppose you're the granddaddy mac of music, I'd love for you too show me anywhere that i said I'm an "expert" at music, simply sharing ideas ass hole, and if yay is what u want then you're right, come to Miami and I'll get you on that fire white, but reggaeton? Now you're just trolling out of your ass newcome, however your critique/input is appreciated.

 

I don't think that guy is anyone's godfather, and i'm certainly not the grandaddy of music. Maybe a second cousin. I'm not trolling, most miami based rap has a heavy reggaeton influence. "OG" rappers are old by the way. And OF is trying to mirror a lot of older artists. They're taking all the shitty fx/female vocalist based hooks out of rap.

 

I wouldnt know about a second cousin, maybe a fan of music or even an admirer, but tbh, you're no one too music other than a listener, and just because of the location of Miami doesn't mean the whole population listens to Spanish reggateon, ROFL, im fucking Jamaican and i jam too anything that sounds appealing too me, whether it may be country, techno, oldies, jazz, or rap, If i like it, I'll listen to it, and I'll have an opinion on it, but that doesn't justify you to judge me or try to 'correct' my personal thoughts.

 

I'm not trying to attack your taste. Stop dodging the actual discussion about music. Not to be rude, but your just objectively wrong in classifying lil wayne as OG
