Yes! That is an outstandingly well price, especially for a 40" TV.

A top rated seller on eBay with 2million+ feedback is selling a bunch of them for a buy it now price of $350.

 

Price is in line with quality. Although the specs might be decent (5000 to 1 isn't that good) the quality of the workmanship might just suck. Reviews are what you really need to look at.

I've owned both Dynex and Coby in the past and both TVs still work today (both are about 2 years old)

So yeah OP if you would rather buy in a store where you know you'll get good service etc go for those.

 

I'm no electronic expert, but that is a heaps good price.

 

Excellent price considering 42's go for at least $550+.

I bought a 42" Samsung for like $800 a while back. So you got a good deal in front of you. Man its even 1080p too sheesh
