Bots and algorithms

So bots use IDs to pick up items and attack monsters, but they use algorithms for other things like entering rift. They just detect the letters in enter rift in the sequence. But what I'm not sure about is, for example, if Enter Ri would work? Like if the name isn't complete would the bots still detect the algorithms? Can anyone help me figure this out?

 

It's hard to determine this exactly because not many people have breakdowns on the actual scripts themselves.

 

It depends if the script was coded to detect "Enter rift" or "Enter ri".
Most likely first option.

 

Well for RSBot you could do "Enter ri" and it would work because it looks to see if the menu of the alleged object your are interacting with contains the String "Enter ri" in the menu indices. So because "Enter rift" does contain the text "Enter ri" it will work. You could even do "Ent" if it had no other indices with that text in it. Also something else is the action that you put in doesn't have to be case sensitive as the bot makes the text lowercase for comparing.
