    ....Fail^

    It's Brazilian Jujitsu...

Which in all reality is the most effective fighting style imo, Maui Thai looks better and is better in a "street fight" If you want to win with style.

The best base you didn't post on here. Wrestling is the best base to start, but out of those, I would pick kickboxing.

    Hard to compare tbh..

In boxing- a boxer would fuck their shit up

in MMA- a boxer would get his shit fucked up.

thats just how it works. you cant really compare them..

I think Boxing,Wrestling combo would be the best though. IMO

Wrestling/BJJ is a good start. I good grappler will beat a good striker 99% of the time because the grappler can force the striker to grapple with him...a striker cannot force a grappler to strike with him.....Royce Gracie proved it at UFC 1. I practice BJJ and wish i had wrestling at my highschool.

pulling numbers out of thin air is stupid you obviously haven't been in a lot of fights (that's a good thing!), fighters beat fighters, styles don't compete against other styles I have seen many strikers beat wrestlers and comparing that to the time I have seen wrestlers beat strikers would be of no use. Also,
When I see those flyweights wrestling I always wish I could join, mount them and finish him, but apparently anything done with the intention of hurting isn't allowed and the goal isn't submitting but pinning his back to the ground, so the metagame is totally different and unrelated with any form of; martial art, violence, fighting or mixed martial arts.

in addition to what you were saying, its also about how hard you work and how good you're instructor is. My instructor has a background from most fighting styles - kickboxing/wrestling/muay thai/boxing/brazilian jiu jitsu/greco so he teaches what will happen in most situations not just if you're fighting someone using the same style as you.

if you are learning jiujitsu you will learn from a jiujitsu instructor that will teach you jiujitsu techniques that are the same techniques that their jiujitsu senseis taught them and are used within the jiujitsu rules against jiujitsu (or judo) competitors.
So no, you are not learning your instructor you are learning the art, that is definite, certain moves have certain parameters and there is such thing as a perfect game and the correct move to do, so in jiujitsu I can say that no, your instructor can be good or bad but he can't teach more than what there is to it, the instructor is the pianist and jiujitsu is beethoven. As long as your instructor plays the correct notes.

if your being serious, take all 3? -_-. All 3 have aspects that the other 3 does not, being a mixed martial artist means learning different types of martial arts and taking some stuff from everything to add to your arsenal;.

Muay thai is good for stand up, BJJ good for ground game.
In a street fight, it'd be good to know both, kick ass standing up or fuck someone up on the ground. u pick

    I lol'd.
Not necessarily - a striker with minimal grappling skills can use wrestling in reverse and easily badger you. There's a million variables to fighting.
As stated - wrestling is the best base if you're looking to be some kind of mixed martial artist.

I'm surprised no one asked this - but what is your primary goal in taking up MA? Fitness? Self defence? Your initial question has no context - if you're simply comparing them then it's apple to oranges.
