Do your real life friends know about Sythe?

Personally, I don't -tell- people that I'm an admin on Sythe.org, but I don't hide it from my friends and most of my friends do know about Sythe.org through me.

I don't think it's something to be ashamed of; I don't deny it if people ask me about it - I just don't think it's something to boast about either >_>

How about you guys? Terrified your friends will find out that you post on a runescape forum?

 

Only a couple friends know about it, since they asked about the site when I was browsing on sythe.org

Like you said, I don't talk about it, but I tell them about sythe if they ask.

 

Some of my friends in my room spot me on sythe like they will be like come on were going now and i'd havet say hold up im MM'in a trade then i'll have to explain that to them

But they think its cool if i make a bit of pocket money every now and again from it

 

I don't tell people I use it, but when my friends came over, they usually see me on Sythe. They say I spend too much time on here. They used to pronounce it "sith." They said, "Dude, why the hell are you on Sith?" Then, I told them how it's pronounced. I'm getting off-topic, so, yes, my bestfriends know I use Sythe. The majoity of my other friends, however, do not.

If anyone asks I explain it to them, but not too many people know I browse sythe/ play runescape.

 

Yeah, my friend just laughs when I say I go on sythe to make money from playing a game.

 

My Girlfriend, Best Friend at College, and Best Friend back at home all know about Sythe.

Recently told my Mom about how I was making so much money as well, she thought I was drug dealing since my bank receipts were sent back to my home address as opposed to my school address.

All are fine with it and I'm not ashamed at all, however I explain it more as a moneymaking venture as opposed to an online MMORPG forum lol.

Some people knew I got RS goods online and sold them IRL for a lot of money. But no, I dont really talk about it much with my friends.

 

Not one soul knows I even am on Sythe. Possibly they never even heard of it before. It's just my personal place to visit.

 

A couple rl friends know, but they are members here :L but i dont really play/post here much anymore im just here running my skilling services.

Not really. The only thing my friends and I talk about is porn when it comes to the internet.

OT:

Nobody I know, knows the existence of Sythe. Runescape is not something that is brought up in conversation, ever. My new girlfriend doesn't even know I play now n again, and i live with her lmfao..

 

None of my friends even know I still play RS (though I'm trying to quit). I wouldn't really mind if they knew I used Sythe but, it's not really something that I can be bothered to tell them.

 

If my mates knew how much time i spent on the computer they would laugh their ass off.

They thought i quit RS in like 2005.

 

I've come to find out my best friend and co-worker is familiar, but he plays legit... I don't think he's active at all.
