Chaotic Rapier vs. Chaotic Longsword vs. Chaotic Maul

Chaotics easily.

 

CLS does not deal more damage than a rapier per second. If that was the case, everyone would be using a CLS over a rapier when staking.

Also, might want to add that rapier is the best weapon for staking (no armor). I think CLS is better with armor due to its balanced strength, accuracy and speed.

 

i think the chaotic longsword is better

I'm still torn on what to get, my primary uses will be:

1)TDS
2)Frosts
3)Slayer
4)Bandos/Gwd

I just prefer rapier for everyday uses Clan wars, events, and PvM. I still think its the better choice.

 

Rapier > All others

 

For TDS, I would suggest a maul because of its low defence bonus'. A maul or CLS. For frosts, I suggest a CLS or rapier. I believe they have a weakness to stab.
Slayer, Rapier hands down, best overall wep IMO
Bandos/GWD, CLS or Rapier. Maul, however, is good when massing, because you only usually get one hit on the boss while massing, and if its high, then it's more useful, right?

This thread is incredibly helpful for helping people choose their first chaotic With that said - I still haven't decided whether I want the chaotic maul or the chaotic rapier... I think I am leaning slightly towards the rapier but I will wait a bit longer until I have all the tokens I need before I decide.

 

I would get the rapier as a first following either the sword or maul. It depends what you will do though I mean rapier is pretty much the best overall for most activities especially PvP.

Its pretty much easy nowadays to get all three.

i have them all and only use the rapier for everything. sometimes the cls for pking. the maul is hardly used as i dont like slow weapons
