Question about buying gold

Hello guys,

I'm new here, well yes and no; I've already surfed the Sythe forums a few years back and have since not been playing Runescape.

Firstly I'd like to say that I'm sorry if this has already been answered somewhere, but I thought it wouldn't hurt too much to start a new topic to ask!


So, I'm interested in buying some gold for my account and this looks like a pretty serious place to do some trusted trading. Now what I'm wondering is, isn't this risky? I mean, Runescape account-wise? I mean, last I recall, people buying gold were easily found and had their accounts banned, no?

So I'm wondering if it's safe to do it, if you have any tips to avoid raising alarms. As I mentioned before, I've not been playing Runescape in a good three/four years, and what struck me, is the massive hike in prices. I'm left behind with a lousy 15m after being scammed attempting to sell my account. So, are these prices because of "botters"? I heard there are a lot of them now, and is regular trading back? Is it possible to drop trade again? I know pretty much nothing of the latest trading things and so am trying to gather a bit of information in order to set myself up for hopefully a smooth purchase of some gold!

im in exactly the same boat as you mate, not played in ages, came back and things are so different! could you pm me with a little advice on buying gold? i only have like 8m on my account and see that gold prices are cheap now (used to be around $5 per 1m when i last played). thanks!

 

I've now traded over 70bil in total on one account, yes I can assure you it's safe.

Just do all the talking on msn etc. Don't mention rwt in the game, organize a meeting point and just trade. Never EVER, go around boasting about your wealth.
