Hacked by fake jagex email

Hi i was recently scammed my a fake jagex email

i didnt realize that it was fake

He scammed 50m which i recently bought off a few buyers on sythe

secondly

I have the guy's ip address and want to send him a virus to fuck his computer up

can anyone help me in doing this

^^ P.s i dont really want to fuck his comp up i just wangt to trace him

It is an obvious phish.

#1 That's definetaly not his real IP.
#2 If he used a Proxy or a VPN there's no way for you to trace it
#3 Tracing it is pointless, you won't be able to get your money back

I've seen a bunch of these emails, they really are beginning to look real.

 

It's getting to the point where I can't even click on anything in Jagex's e-mails anymore. I only ever go to Runescape.com myself if there's an issue with my account.

 

You can trace him and find out where he's from, nothing more. And you won't be able to do anything with that information.

as stated above, that IP might as well be a fake so no point in pointless raging. and tbh its kinda sad you still got hacked, your fault really, i dont mean to be a d**k about it just saying. as for jagex stated beforehand that they NEVER send you emails, all your notifications can be read from runescape.com and only there. Im sorry for your loss man, its happen to me on three accnts, atleast i thought i did, then i remember i changed the pass acouple days before xD so i got saved, no matter what you put it always logs you in to those fake sites.

i typed
RS USERNAME: GTFO
RS PASS: scammer :3


and it signed me in to the fake site

That's not necessary, just learn from your mistakes, work harder and get everything back plus a lot more. It happens all the time and people recover.

I read this and take it back. He was only asking something, no need to be a douche and go over the top... You call him an idiot yet you're the one who got scammed by something as obvious as that AND thinks that you can send viruses just by having somebody's IP address? Mhm, slightly hypocritical.

No, you are. Despite countless times Jagex has told you that you will never receive an email from them, what do you do? You go and get yourself phished. I have about 100+ phishing emails and even I'm not stupid enough to look at them.

If I got hacked, why would I bother getting back at the person? It's only a game, 50m is like $30, which is two hours of work for me.
