Which computer is better / how bad are integrated graphics?

Which computers out of these 4 are best (best to worst), for just running a few runescapes/youtube/ other demanding sites, and eventually games like COD?

Also, how bad would the integrated graphics cards be for these uses?

Processor: AMD Athlon II 620 Quad-Core Processor
RAM: 6gb (expanding to 8 atleast)
Hard drive: 1TB

Computer 3:

Graphics card:ATI Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics
Processor:AMD Phenomâ„¢ II 840T Quad-Core Processor (2.9Ghz)
RAM: 6gb (expanding to 8 atleast)
Hard drive: 1TB

Computer 4:

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics
Processor: AMD Athlonâ„¢ II 645 Quad-Core Processor (3.10GHz)
RAM: 6gb (expanding to 8 atleast)
Hard drive: 1TB

 

There honestly isn't a ton of difference between any of them as far as I can tell. A Radeon HD 4200 will be fine for RuneScape / botting, but I HIGHLY doubt it'll play COD. Never heard of the other GPU, but as a general rule, integrated sucks ass. Unless you plan on doing a huge bunch of bots, 6GB RAM will be fine btw. No need to upgrade to 8GB otherwise, you won't see any difference in performance.

 

Computer #4 is the best for what you're looking for, the ghz and the card are good for gaming. I don't know the difference as far as integrated graphics, etc though

 

Not really, I'd be surprised if that card ran COD:MW2 @ 720p on medium to high settings with playable FPS.

 

All of them are shit for gaming, fine for web browsing & runescape.

Mohtasa, it's horrible for gaming, it's integrated, meaning it's integrated into the motherboard.

 

NVIDIA MCP78OV Chipset = geforce 9100 I think. Which is worse than the ati 4200

 

It should be able to since my Radeon 4670 ran it perfectly well on max settings.

It's integrated, the 4670 is a dedicated card.
Integrated GPUs isn't made for gaming.

It will not play COD very well at all(by that I mean low at 20fps on a low res from my google results)

They're the same, but better than the others.

 

Trust me there is a HUGE difference in a 4670 and a 4200 lol. That's like comparing a GT 410 to a GTX 480. No comparison, really.

A quick Google search didn't show much, but I thought the 840T like didn't have an L3 cache or something like that? I know the Athlon II X4 620 doesn't, because I used to have that CPU.

 

I don't believe either of them do. The 645 has L1 cache and hypertransport. They're both relatively the same performance wise though. The 840 is clocked higher, so it may perform slightly better. As usual, it depends on the application.

 

Integrated graphic's are HORRIBLE, When I built my own computer a few months ago, I was happy to get the newest Nvidia Drivers 280.26. They make a huge difference in gameplay, and the 60Hz Refresh is nice!

 

computer 4 is much more powerful the rest. it has a real graphics card that run decent games and the proccessor is at a safe 3.10 Ghz which should be great for games. think of it as this. games dont focus now in days on proccessor because if you only run the game it should be fine. They need the graphics card so you shouldnt be cheap on it. pay more on graphics instead of integrated graphics definatly

 

What? #4 still has an integrated HD 4200. It is not a gaming card by any means, and will not play any games from within the last like 5 years at good settings. Also, I guarantee my 2500k clock for clock is WAY faster than an Athlon II X4 645. I've been there, I had a Athlon II X4 620 @ 3.5GHz and my 2500k even at stock 3.3GHz blows it away. Games DO use the CPU, it's not like you can have some shitty processor and a really awesome GPU and wind up not getting bottlenecked.

 

my bad didnt see that. i think he should just build it himeself and actually buy the graphics card seperatly to be honest. 3.10 ghz should be fine for runescape guaranteed.

 

Honestly, I've tried on sites like cyberpower and ibuypower, just can't for the right price, these are all very cheap. I'm not looking for an absolute tank of a computer, just something to satisfy browsing, youtube, several RS clients running, etc.

If someone's willing to pick out parts for me on newegg or another site, please feel free too.

Max I will spend on this computer is $600 or so for just the tower.

 

It's a little bit over budget but not terribly, if it's really a big deal I can adjust it to under $600

Should serve you very well for running basic tasks + a few RuneScape windows, even games like COD should be okay on it depending on resolution/settings. Also never buy from places like iBuyPower/CyberPower, they charge just as much if not more than your average manufacturer does and all they're doing is slotting things into place/screwing things down. Building isn't hard, save yourself the money and gain some knowledge/experience at the same time.
