Do you think arranged marriages should be illegal?

I think it's alright if they agree to it.

From what I've heard most people dislike being married against their will, they should always have the last say if they want to get married or not.

Suggesting a marriage is ok, forcing a marriage is not.

Marriage is for people who love each other and want to be married, not for 2 complete strangers that don't want to marry each other.

 

It's a part of an old culture, but it seems to be expiring in the new modern countries like US.

In America yes it should be illegal. It would undermine what freedom is; in the USA, and what freedom stands for. Other countries have there own customs and way of doing things. Do they allow you the option to split or is it just you're stuck with that person for ever?

 

No one forces anyone to do anything in North America. They're just pressured into it.

Ultimately it's your choice.

People was forced into religion, why this is different since it is on the GROUNDS on religion?

Sure, people aren't forced FORCED into religion, but we know if the child is taught it as truth growing up since birth, they're going to hold onto it as such a sacred thing, unfortunately.
