    Vouches or Donation amount?

    Hope everyone's doing good ^_^

I was wondering, fast like this, what do you guys trust more, someone with a lot of vouches or someone with a big donation amount?

Because it seems that a lot of users are now simply giving money to Sythe, hoping to be more trusted and it seems to work sometimes...

    Opinions?

vouches, anyone can donate to get "trust". vouches are gained and show that you are actually trusted.

    Vouches or Donation amount?

Vouches, I am not going to trust someone that joined yesterday and has donated $500 with no vouches over someone that has a lot of trade experience and is fairly trusted.

    Vouches or Donation amount?

Donations don't mean ass to me. It's annoying how many people put the donor tags in the title of their threads to make themselves look more "trustworthy". One rank can be given through one payment, and in return can be used to scam members based on their "trust". Vouches, however, are obtained over a period of time, and really show the value of proof of trust in someone's behavior, as well as experience in the trading market. Sure someone with a donator rank of around $300+ is definitely more less likely to scam, but it doesn't prove that they can or deserve to be trusted, if they don't have credible vouches.

Obviously vouches are the most important part of a trustworthy person... Donations are not supposed to be made for trust, they're for the site manteinance and growing, etc.

Vouches are the only thing that I look at. Usually people who have high donor ranks also have a lot of vouches too though.

    Vouches or Donation amount?

Vouches mean the most, but donation show's a little bit. Now $5.00 donation's are nothing, but coming to the $300.00 and $400.00 donation's some trust is gained, certainly not to newer user's though.

    Vouches or Donation amount?

Vouches are more important than donations but I believe both aren't the main thing to show someone trusted. Donations are mainly for the site to help it carry on and show that you care. Vouches mean you have traded in the market and have done a great success in doing it.

I have seen someone with over 800+ vouches then get banned for scamming in the end. Its really tough to trust someone through the internet.

    Vouches or Donation amount?

I have found most people when looking to sell their rsgp, go straight for the high donor and vouches.

Personally, I trust high donor's more. It sort've safe guards you if the amount donated, is more than the trade value. Vouches just show how many times you've had a sucessfull trade.

For example, 500m is sold to a $400 donor for $200. In this trade, the amount donated is higher than the trade value itself. My logical thinking is, why would someone attempt to scam me, if they'll be loosing out themselves for $200.

I think it's fair to say almost all high donors, have a reasonable sum of vouches too.

I've been told, all to often people who sell to gold buyers, donor rank is the first thing they look @.
