College Essay Anyone?

I'm here to get help from my College Essay which needs to be handed in pretty soon, haven't got it started, but I've heard from my seniors saying it's a tough job and a poorly written essay can mean an admission from a great university.

So if anyone is kind enough to offer me tips, or even send essays of what you have written through PMs, if PM is not long enough, please send a text-only to [email protected]

I'm not looking to copy off anyone, I'm just looking for some ideas as I clearly have no idea what I'm gonna write. (My school doesn't give any help) So please help me guys!

 

If you ever went through a traumatic event or have had some extreme difficulties in your life, write about that and explain how you overcame it and became successful. (Probably the easiest way to find something to write about imo, although i'm sure people have lots of different things in their life they can easily make a good essay about).

But for any college essay no matter what you write about, be sure to express qualities or characteristics of your personality that show you have potential to succeed. The actual plot of your essay isn't particularly relevant to what colleges are looking for, it's the qualities about you and the writing competency that is being judged.

Also, collegeconfidential is a good website to look at, at least better than sythe for this lol.
