   Explanation of the trade: Buying maxed cape account with gold!
   
   I would like to file a report regarding an issue with a purchase I made from RYGUYSLIVE involving an OSRS account
   
   I opened a ticket in the RYGUYSLIVE Discord server to inquire about purchasing a maxed cape OSRS account. During the entire process, I was never informed that the account had any prior bans or disciplinary history. The account was not advertised or disclosed as having a temporary ban, and I proceeded under the assumption that it was a clean account.
   
   On February 14, 2026, I purchased the account for $1,099 via Ethereum cryptocurrency, as agreed upon with the seller.
   As well as purchasing $300 worth of gold via Ethereum,
   Additionally, before completing the transaction, I specifically asked the seller about the warranty and whether the account would be covered if it received an RWT (Real World Trading) ban after purchase. Because of them swapping gold too the account for me, The seller responded “yes,” implying that such a situation would be covered under their warranty and assured me that there "method of trading" GP is much safer then any other sellers via tip jar.
   
   
   After receiving the login information and accessing the account, I discovered that the account had a temporary ban issued in January 2026, which is very recent. This information was never disclosed prior to the sale. Had I been informed of this, I would not have proceeded with the purchase.
   
   However, upon reviewing the seller’s Terms of Service, it clearly states:
   
   “2 month free warranty – 55% money back (Not including Locks/Bans/Jagex Launcher)”
   
   This directly contradicts what the seller told me prior to the sale and explicitly excludes bans associated with Jagex. Based on this, I believe the seller misrepresented the warranty terms and provided inaccurate information in order to complete the transaction.
   
   Furthermore, the account was not disclosed as having a temporary ban, which is material information that should have been provided upfront. The lack of disclosure and conflicting warranty information makes this transaction misleading and unfair.
   
   You may refer to the Discord ticket logs within the RYGUYSLIVE Discord server for the full conversation history, as I no longer have access to the complete ticket.
   
   Due to the undisclosed temporary ban, I am requesting either a full refund of $1,400 or compensation.

This is the only bit I have of the conversation. I figured they would send some type of copy when the ticket was closed, but they did not. When I went back to my ticket and asked about the temp, it was instantly closed, and The Account posting was taken down. I opened another ticket, spoke to them briefly throughout the day as the replies were spaced out by hours of time, then again my ticket Got closed. When I first asked about it, their response was, OR you gone to bot on a maxed account? Idk what that's supposed to mean. And then I told them If I had known it had a temp, I would not have paid the listed price of an assumed clean account. And to that, I got the reply that I received a good price. Which again makes no sense, as I know the market all too well and have many friends in the market who agreed with me that this is not right. I tried to come to some kind of agreement outside of a full refund because I wouldn't mind keeping the account, but I feel I should not have paid the clean price for a temp account. Throughout the whole purchase, I felt like I was being rushed and told what I would like to hear to continue the purchase. I went with good faith because A friend of mine told me to go through these guys )

Hey there! Another report, my favorite! This person bought an account and that was fully delivered. He asked about warranty i showed him yep two months on locks, not bans! He came back complaining it has a temp which he never previously asked if it had (his own risk at purchase) the account is perfectly good for play and his gold was delivered safely! Sad to see another person reaching for straws at free money

Nothing will be happening here, unforunate to see someone else reaching for straws. Need anything else from me let me know.

here is our conversation from 9pm-1am not sure where hes saying he was "rushed" as you can see he got to take his time perfectly and didnt ask once!

 

Also he paid $1100 for the account, imagine trying to get your gold on top aswell. Dirty dirty

You asked information on everything else and were provided answers. I dont hide anything i just dont post this information ever with my accounts as to me it doesnt matter.

 

He put it on his OWN jagex launcher. Making it HIS, not resellable, he made his choice when he did this and said it was ok. Why am i typing to someone with a DNT and how are you invovled in this LOL

 

And yes, I agreed that I would be willing to keep the account with the temp. That is not me saying, 'Oh, hey, it's cool; you sold me an account with a temp without telling me. I was trying to be reasonable and considerate too you by asking for some kind of compensation as it seems I paid the price of what was displayed as a clean account.

 

You made your decision when you bought the acc, said you were "perfectly fine" with discovering the temp & putting it on your own launcher. But you know what? To make a customer happy make a ticket ill refund you $150. As i appreciate your business and concerns.

 

Also there is parts of the conversation not posted, Where is the parts when I was trying to login and stuff. I believe they asked for the whole conversation regardless of what it proves. As well as when I asked you about the temp and your first response being, OR you gone to bot on it? ?

I thought my last message made this clear, I'm sorry. I just seen his dm, but I chose option 2. He has already compensated me with an agreed upon amount.
