Email to unlock account?

I got keylogged a few weeks back and didn't realize the guy changed the email on my account. He has been recovering it daily and it's really annoying. I want to set a new email, then lock the account and leave it locked for 14 days until my email is set.

So my question is, can this guy just unlock my account using the email? Or does he have to know the recoveries and everything?

Once you get the account locked and enter the EARLIEST information you have or can remember on the recovery page there is no way he should be able to get an appeal accepted. Even if he has the email or recoveries.

 

So basically.. what I want to do is submit a new email address which takes 14 days. I would be able to lock the account and wait 14 days, then unlock it?

 

No you want to enter as many appeals as possible until the account gets locked. Then enter all the information you possibly can, again the EARLIEST possible. Then you will be able to change the email address right away, and the recovery questions.

 

Oh okay.. so if i get it locked then unlock it itll clear the recoveries and email and i can reset them to my own?

How long does it usually take to get an account locked? Ive sent in like 4 appeals so far

 

It might be locked right now. Usually it would only take like 3 or as little as 2. I'm pretty sure they have to be denied appeals for them to get locked however...not really sure. Just keep trying and it will get locked. It can be a pain in the ass tho to get it unlocked every once in a while, but you should be good if you have the info.

 

I just got blocked from trying to recover it anymore, but the accounts not locked.. Could you send in a few appeals for me please? :O
