its stupid, waste of time, there ruining the game one way at a time.

We’ve also completed some technical changes to the Prayer skill, with the most prominent being to prayer points, multiplying your displayed total by 10 to match the format used by life points. While the Prayer tweaking will have no direct impact upon gameplay, it allows us to release more interesting and varied Prayer updates in the future, including the prayer potion we have released today! As an example of future updates, the upcoming Penance aura will restore prayer points based on damage taken, which would have been very difficult to implement if prayer and life points had still been displayed in different formats.

I like it, you will get to pray abit longer then normal, etc etc, just like how the hitpoints was changed, you hate it at first, but then you love it.

It's only b/c the new prayer potions have a strange restore formula.

 

I like the new prayers, summoning points should be like this to but hitpoints shouldn't be 10x

 

How is this ruining the game? Your prayer lasts a little longer, and it's easier to see how fast it's actually draining..

 

Yeah, but now it's impossible/insanely hard to prayer-flick. It IS game-effecting.

 

Interesting, I wonder if this update is solely for the new prayer potion or if new content will be brought out around this update.

i like it, gives you more of a warning to recharge prayer

 

Technically, when you ss flick or something, you use so little pray it takes like 20 flicks to use 1 old-style pray point. In this new style, flicking will be abolished for just reg fast praying.

 

You'll get use to it. Just like the HP update.

Can anyone explain the bold part to me? How can that be verfy difficult?

 

Now that prayer & life points are multiplied by 10, I assume some time down the track Jagex will multiply the running & summoning points.

 

^ Yeah 1000 run energy wouldn't look good though.
