    When you trade...

Like when someone has bought gold from another person and you guys meet up and trade the gold but no one says anything to each other, what are the chances of being seen suspicious or Jagex looking at your account?

I bought gold yesterday and nothing has happened yet thankfully. Nothing wrong with the trade but I was thinking about how the system might view a random trade of receiving gold from someone randomly.

Also, I feel like buying some more since I just got paid, but should I wait like a month so that the trades are spaced out?

Jagex won't find a gold trade suspicious as it could be from a real-life friend as a gift or something.

Also, if it makes you feel safer, do the trade to a new level 3 than transfer it to your main afterwards.

    none really.

I havn't heard of anyone getting banned right after buying gold, unless you bought like 10b worth at once, you really have nothing to worry about.
And if anyone approaches you and says to return the gold they gave the wrong amount, ignore them,

Ah okay, and return the gold? What if it's the actual seller? And wouldn't he/she tell me on IM?

If they gave you to much lucky you. If they gave you to little they'll just give you the difference. Otherwise they're just trying to scam you.

they claim to have some kind of software that detects rwt, but i call bs. when my friend quit he gave me his bank (almost 300m) and nothing happened. ive paid in rsgp for services which is rwt, and still nothing, so yeah i think youll be fine buying pretty much any amount.
if you want to be super safe you could always stake the money or pk it.

There's too many people dicing for jagex to be able to see the difference between winning a dicing pot and RWT.
