Account swap and account was recovered. HELP

Hey I have a question. So I sold Protox an account for 30m and an account with 40 defense 99 range/99 magic and after he was banned he recovered the range/mage tank back. I was wondering since he recovered the account back, am I aloud to re-sell the account I sold him since I'm out of part of my payment? Lastly what would the rules be to re-selling it and what proof would I need to provide to prove he recovered the account? To be clear I have not recovered it.

As for re-sale of the account, you would need to recover the account you lost and/or prove to a Staff Member the account information you received from Protox was invalid (unable to recover account). If you -can- recover the account, there may be items missing, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to take a screenshot of the IP address as evidence if successful.

Scamming and/or counter-scamming are against the rules and will result in a permanent ban. Therefore, this may be a question only a current Staff Member can answer. This is why it's best to use a good middleman when trading (if one was not used), to ensure the recoveries and all other relevant aspects of the trade can be verified beforehand.

Sry was in rush I changed it. Yeah I've tried to recover the range tank twice with no success. Yeah I'm in no way trying to counter scam, im just trying to figure resolution.

I don't see why you can't sell it. He broke the agreement therefore deal is off.

 

What other help are you needing?

 

I'd think that you should be allowed to recover the account, but i probably would advise against re-selling it.

 

Just want a mod to give a verdict if it is alright to recover and sell?
