Account Age

Is there a way to find out when my account was made? I have an account that I made a long time ago, and I want to find out generally around when it was made. I got the veteran cape on it, so I know it's old enough for that but it makes me wonder how old it really is. Hope someone can help.

 

You can try to find old highscore lists from near the game's beginning. Other than that I can't really think of any way to do it.

Hopefully you aren't trying to recover an account that isn't yours because that would be scamming and against Sythe rules.

 

The only way I know is if it doesn't have a Veteran's cape, than you can go to the Vetercan cape guy and he'll tell you how much longer until 5 years and you do the math from there...

Only other way I know is if you recover your account and know the creation date...

 

Lolol Pockets, the account is 100% mine. I am the original creator and everything.

 

I believe Jagex doesn't disclose creation dates because it could be a potential account security threat, or something like that.

This doesn't have anything to do with technical issues... but try to think of a real life event that clashed with your playing on the account, then think of/ask about the date of the real life event. It worked for me on my first account.

 

I suggest trying this. I broke my femur a month after I made my accounts, makes it easy

 

...just check which is the first holiday item you own.

 

Check holiday items you own, or try to remember what grade u were when u started account/rs. There is not a way to find out if 5+ years older.

 

Looks like I won't know then. I've never really been into holiday items haha, and since I already have the vet cape, I know it's older than 5 years. :/

 

Wait till they release the 10 year cape, and then hope the NPC tells you how many days you have left till 10 years since your join date.
