    A Statement from Matthew & Finn
    Myself and Finn have just concluded an incredibly productive and mutually beneficial conversation in regard to our recent conflict. As you may or may not have seen or heard, Finn and I have had some disagreement and conflict recently. I made this conflict public in a thread I made a few days ago and, as such, would like to provide you, the Sythe.org community, an update to conclude the public debate I started.

    Finn and I have discussed our respective viewpoints regarding a few issues and worked through our disagreements. Most of what we discussed seems like clarification and explanation about various things. I think this shows how dangerous it can be not to have things properly "codified," as Finn likes to say.

    In my opinion, our conversation illustrates true teamwork and how issues between two people can be amicably resolved given the correct amount of effort and mutual respect.

    While a certain amount of disagreement and conversation is healthy, disunity is not something a community like Sythe.org can afford nor is it something anyone should encourage.

    As stated, the dialogue shared by myself and Matthew has been insightful and worthwhile. I'd also like to affirm again the final point made: debate is healthy, and users should, in my opinion, appreciate that staff comment widely on one another in order to get the best out of anyone. Regrettably, certain users felt it appropriate to try and provoke a feeling of disunity from the disagreement between myself and Matthew -- this is unfortunate and contrary to the notion of a caring community. Nonetheless, myself and Matthew are as close as ever, and it should be known that irrespective of occasional disagreements in the context in Sythe.org, we are firm friends and have always, and will continue to, collaborate deeply in order to pioneer the best possible future for Sythe.org.

    The disagreement was largely about some political and procedural things. I'd prefer not to elaborate further at this point...

    @Matthew I appreciate the removal of the questionable posts in the other thread where disagreements were unequivocally debated between the two of you. I'm glad to see you both have settled your differences, and thank you for the update.

    @Finn I know we've certainly had our times, but I'm very much so pleased with the way I've seen you change over time. Now, I may not agree with certain things you do on a day-to-day basis - Frankly, you could care less. However, I thank you as well for taking the time to sort things out for both your friendship and the Community.
