    Double Exp Weekend Decision...

    Hey guys,

    Sept. 9th - Sept. 11th is double exp weekend for RS as you all know, and i need to decide what skill to train during those days.

    It has come down to 2 stats for me: Firemaking or Range

    Firemaking Lvl: 91
    Pros of training Fm:
    - Very Boring stat done at half the time
    - Save mills on Magic Logs
    - I Have both Fire Gloves + Ring of Fire

    Range Lvl: 88
    Pros of training Range:
    - Also semi-boring stat done quickly
    - Just stand there with chins and gain exp
    - Save Mills on Chins + PPots
    - Higher Range for doing Slayer
    Cons of training Range:
    - Very crowded at zombie monkeys during double exp weekends.

    Just let me know what you guys think, thanks :)

    and please leave a reason why.

    Firemaking, purely b/c where are you gonna be able to chin on double xp weekend where there isn't already bots chinning...

    Range. Firemaking is a really common skill to have 99, and if you like combat then Range is definitely the way to go.

    True, thats crossed my mind.

    Well i dont see too many ppl with 99 fm purely b/c its boring as shit and takes money and time. thats y i went for it, and it has a awesome emote for cape!

    my thoughts as well.

    No explanation, reported for spamming.

    It is pointless, but its cool cape to have :)

    Range is the one I'd choose, but lets face it; You aren't going to find a spot to range in during double xp weekend. Everyone is going to try and maximize their xp.

    So, yeah, firemaking is going to be the viable choice here.

    Range chinning because fm is already fast but range costs alot so might as well get it with chinning fast

    Thats what i was thinking.

    Lol Ranging isnt expensive, few chins = few mills...not a big deal.

    Imo, Range cape seems very bland. I'd go with Firemaking all teh ways.

    I would be chinning if I was you. Not skeletons though, go to Nechryaels in Chaos Tunnels and you will actually profit!

    Have you considered ranging without chins? You could level the more useful skill and although it will be slower than chinning, it will still be pretty quick.

    Do you realize fm is 250k/h at jAdinko lair, and free? Might as well chin, to lower costs.

    Honistly i'de have to say do a little bit of both? why do one when you could do both? maybe spend the begining 2.7x and get it to like 1.5 with range then do firemaking? that way you still save on both and still get bonus xp ya know?

    You will save a lot more, and you will get great experience rates.

    Firemaking you shouldn't waste mils on. You should use maple logs.

    NO THANK YOU! From i think 70-75 fm was like 25k maple logs or some shit like that, instead i did like 5k magic give or take a little and im 91 fm now.

    firemaking imo, you can level extremely quickly with yew logs.

    at least you didnt make a mistake of anticipating bonus xp weekend

    ive screwed up and bought 13.5k torstols a few weeks ago :(

    no everyday im just loosing millions :(
