    hi - tech botting?

could somebody tell me roughly how many bots i could run with:
9.6 GHZ of processing power (4x 2.4GHZ AMD opteron 6136)
    256 GIG of ram (32 X 8 gig DDR3 ram)?
this is possible, if you build your own computer, i just want to know how many bots i could run.

like 10 your processor is crap, you will never beable to use 256 gigs of ram lol. that is like 500 bots on one computer, not gonna happen unless you also put 20 i7's in there which isnt even possible. so no, this cannot be possible.

You can only run about 10-14 bots maybe even a little less. I also highly doubt you have anywhere near that amount of ram especially with such a low quality processor.

Also when stating your processing power always say how many cores and the amount of GHZ of each processor as your actual speed won't be 4 2.4's due to each one needing to register your os's info so it brings it down from 2.4 each to about 2.0-2.1

    hi - tech botting?

I'm running 10+ bots on my AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition CPU (Has a corsair H50 water cooler on it as well) 8 GB of dominator ram, OC'd it for a little bit more speed, ATI 6970 (Sapphire) sitting in a lan boy air covered in fans for better cooling. You really wouldn't want to ever push the PC you have, you should monitor the temps on your CPU making sure it stays under 60 to 65C if you are really trying to run multiple bots.
I really wish Powerbot would implement a CUDA feature so I can run my EVGA graphics cards again, and if you are curious about CUDA look it up, it's basically using your graphics card as a CPU which in theory (and has been tested) you could run any game on the market at max graphics and have solid max FPS. The next issue with bot farms would just be your ISP and your bandwith if you aren't using a VPS

Probably around 15 bots in my opinion. You don't need that ridiculous amount of RAM with that processor.

I doubt that much ram could fit in one computer. But around 14-16 bots that much ram isn't needed for your processor

    hi - tech botting?

It's not all about the RAM....the processor is more important.
