Do you guys think jagex is going to start selling rsgp?

Since they've taken legal action against gold4rs for their name. do you guys think They will use this site to sell rsgp now? They've become so greedy past months :l

 

No.... they are not going to try and ruin their own game. They would benefit more from not selling gold, so they never will.

 

If they were even to do such a thing they'd obviously do it on their main RuneScape website..

People bring this up constantly, and if you think about it, its really idiotic and a stupid idea. So people get touchy about it.

Why would you ask such a question, to say the least.. Jagex or any game company has a best interest to maintain a credible image. If they started selling gold then there would be practically no incentive for players to play legit or to play at all. If they sank that low, they may as well change the game to GoldScape or BotScape.

But seriously, what a question to ask..

 

No, JaGeX aren't that greedy. They actually do want to keep the game fair for their legit players.

 

to all you nay sayers it is quite possible that they may do this later on in the games life like nearly all MMO's do but as a couple people said profit now out ways the profit they would make. Also there prices would be much higher than our prices so they wouldn't get as much business.

Jagex also stated they would never do this but they have contradicted themselves several times already so who knows.

If they did, I bet a lot of websites would report about it, and that would have a negative effect on Jagex's reputation. If they did sell gold, then it would probably be a lot cheaper than anywhere else, maybe somewhere around $0.10 a mil.

Well the thing is if they used the runescape.com webpage there actual site, they could sell gold for probably 2.00 usd a mill and people would still buy a shitload from them. If they sold there own GP they could make more money then they do with membership.

But they could still use Gold4rs.com and use it to bann RWT'rs but idk you never know

 

Jagex will never sell their gold.

They are trying to close Gold4rs by trying to take away their domain. It will just be like the rsbot website situation.

 

That would make me lol because that's against everything they've done to stop RWT/botting, ect.

 

No, and if they EVER do, they'll make it anonymous. Like, they might just make an account on Sythe or PowerBot and start selling it around there rather than officially advertising it on their own front page which will cause a lot of legit players to quit.

 

If the economy ever reaches an absolute zero, give it time and Jagex will start selling RSGP.

 

Its the worse thing that can happen and its been talked about alot. I doubt it they would though.

 

I wouldn't doubt them trying something like this for even more money. I mean look at Zynga, they make more than Jagex off a few CRAPPY games just because people buy ingame coins/cash.
