Quick question about infractions

Let's say you get banned for a week due to an accrual of infractions up to 7 points..

Then 2 days into the 1 week ban one of your infractions expire, making it 6 points

Do you wait the remainder of the 5 days or do you instantly become unbanned?

 

I'm pretty sure you wait the duration of the ban, regardless of whether the infractions expire in the middle of the ban.

Actually I believe that is correct

 

For a 7 point accrual of infractions, you will have to wait out the 1-week term. If any of your infractions expire during that time frame, it will reduce your active points, but you will still have to wait out the term.

However, if you do receive 8, 9, or more points from infractions, I am uncertain if you will be banned again. This is not outlined within the rules, which may require further clarification.

 

Heres a tip: Whenever you get close to reaching your final infraction before temp ban, go Profile > All Posts > Edit all the posts that you think may warrant an infraction. Then lay low, dont go on sythe, only lurk, I see you like to post alot.
Read those words wisely, Im pretty sure its 3-4 temp bans of infractions before you get Perm'ed for being a nuisience so talking shit and saying "I'll take the infraction for this" really isnt worth it.

 

First of all, you shouldn't really have posts worth infracting. Second of all, that's a really bad way to avoid the temporary ban, how about not spamming?

 

You serve the full ban.

If you do happen to lose one point during a 7 point ban, you will then have 6 points. If you get another infraction after you get unbanned, you will then have 7 points again and receive another ban.
