    Keys have become sticky/stiff

The keyboard I have is KB1421.

Earlier I spilled some cold coffee on my keyboard by accident and didn't know what to do, so I panicked and turned my keyboard upside down and started dabbing the keys with a shirt whilst shaking the keyboard.

Obviously this isn't the best thing to do but I'm unsure what to do now. A few hours later and some of my keys are quite stiff, including G, H, J, K, L, and P.

Any good solutions which don't require me to buy anything? I'm unsure if I'm able to remove each individual key because the keyboard looks as though it's not possible. Please let me know (after looking at the image, perhaps) if it's possible to remove these keys and what I should do then.

    Thanks.

If it was coffee without sugar then all you really need to do it leave the keyboard turned over for around 12 hours and let all the liquid come out of it.

If those keys are hard to press down then you can remove them and use alcohol or electronic wipes to clean it up. you should be able to take them off with something flat like a flat driver.

I went ahead and looked up a good guide

Thanks a lot - that link was helpful. Unfortunately the coffee had sugar, which is why I'm guessing it's making the keys sticking. Many thanks.

I have washed it with a hose and depending on the season used a hair drier or left it outside in the heat.

    Don't reconnect until completely dry.

    Cheers
