How will two and a half men go without Charlie

I think it will die a slow painful death. It won't be as funny without Charlie. How the hell are they going to write Charlie off? They say over a cliff...

    Will Ashton Kutcher succeed??

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers

Agreed fullest point. Show will definitely not go to far. I mean they kill him off?? Instead of killing him off they should have at least maybe make him go on some sort of trip somewhere far away or had something to do with his music career going places. In the future they could have used him again.

Ashton is a great actor but he just isn't Charlie Sheen. I have to say it will die and only last a few episodes.

It was a long run though and it had to end sometime soon. Seen almost every episode and loved every single one xD

I Doubt the show is going to die off
even though there losing the main character,
IMO the show isnt going to be anywhere near the way
it used to be, but as good in a different way

I suspect there'll be a huge audience to watch the first episode to see how Charlie is written off.
I further believe there'll be a huge audience for a number of weeks until the novelty value or interest wears off. The die hard Charlie supporters will probably switch off. There may even be new supporters to the show.

I'd say it'll last a season, time will tell. There is only one Charlie...

    Cheers

All good things come to an end. I personally think Charlie makes the show and I don't think it will succeed much longer without him around. :(

Agreed 100% with all who say Charlie makes Two and a half men strive.

I doubt the show will go on as it did previously, but it will build up to something different now that he is replaced.

The show might not die off. If it still holds the same jokes (sexual, sexist, etc.) and Ashton can pull it off nice, there will still be viewers.

But IMO, the show died a few seasons ago anyway.

It all depends how good Ashton Kutcher can be in winning the audience over. Two and a Half Men still has great potential, despite Charlie being the stellar star, if Kutcher can encapsulate Charlie's humor and the Directors can shift the scenes in a certain direction favoring that, then the show may still go on.

I find it very hard to believe that they will however conjure up the improbable.

I think the show would be great with charlier, and ashton Kutcher. But it will never be the same without charlie. It will be good but not as good.

I didn't think the show was funny at all with Sheen so it probably won't be funny without him either.

It won't be nearly twice as good as it was. Sheen made that show.

It won't last. With Ashton Kutcher, it will probably only get one series and that is it.

Charlie made that show, because it just portrayed his lifestyle. It was a show that was built around him.

I can't even begin to imagine the show with Charlie Sheen and I highly doubt it is going to last with Ashton taking his place... I like Ashton, don't get me wrong, but NOBODY can replace Charlie Sheen. The first few episodes might have a ton of viewers tuning in to check it out and see what the show is like without Sheen, but unless the first few episodes are absolutely hilarious then I think people will lose interest very fast.

I won't say anything till it starts but I guess it might slowly die if its unsuccessful you can't replace Charlie.

It's just wierd that they are replacing Charlie Sheen's character with Ashton Kutcher. I have nothing against him, but he just doesn't fit the part in my opinion, not to mention the 13 year age difference. I don't think the show will last much longer.

It will die a slow death, Charlie Sheen was a decent actor because he looked like he was trying to hard to act in my opinion, which made it funny. I won't be watching any more episodes haha
