    Gold Farm Questions

Hey guys I currently have 9 Dell Optiplex GX280's. I got them for 60$. To get them all running I would have to dump about 3-400$. Then I would have 9 working computers running Pentium 4 2.8ghz 2gb RAM. Would be running Linux and ONLY RS Bots. I was estimated 3-4 bots per computer. So that would be 27-36 bots.

    OR

Spend a little bit more money building newer computers. However I have no clue how much I would be spending to get the same amount or more out of the 9 Dells.

If anyone has any experience with this or have opinions I would greatly appreciate it. Also if you read this can you post your CPU and RAM and how many bots you can run so I can get a estimate of what I can build and expect out of it.

    THANKS!!!!!!!!!

27-36 bots should be enough for a decent bot farm. If you figure using a script that's F2P, you can usually get around at least 100k/hr which is 2.7m-3.6m per hour which is 65m-90m. If you went into P2P you could make more but I'd say around 80m a day is good. You also need to take into consideration the electricity needed to run these computers, the scripts being used (if payed using nexus, you need 1 script per account), and if membership then the membership fees per account. After all this, you need to look overall and see if you're making your money back, and at least coming out positive.

I understand. However this will be a single man job. And there will always be room to expand. However I would like to start small just in case things start to turn im not to deep in.

    Thanks for your reply.

Then, I believe for a start, you have the necessary equipment needed to have a basic bot farm. Eventually, if you get well known, you can start expanding... But, for now, you're fine. Good Luck.

I think more realistic f2p numbers are 60h/hr profit. If you are able to run 27 Bots that is 1.6mil total per hour.

If you run 14 hours a day total you get about 23 mil. If you sell that mill at .45 per mil you make about 10.5 dollars a day or 315 dollars a month.

If electricity is taken care of, internet is taken care of, then you should be able to make back your initial investment in about 40 days, shorter if you bot more than 14 hours a day or run more than 27 bots.

So long as you have the time and patience to check that 27 bots a working a few times during the day, every day, for 40 days and then sell the gold then you will lose nothing. If you decide to stop after that you have 9 computers sitting around that are all paid for.

If you decide to continue for a whole year with that setup you can bank about 3400 dollars for managing the bots.

However if you spend an hour playing with your bot farm each day you are really only making 10 dollars an hour for the amount of time that you play with the computers.

Not only do you have to work an estimated hour each day, but you have to sell the gold, advertise, and other tasks to turn your gp into real money.

You would be making probably $6-8 total per hour you mess with your bot setup.

That is not really that much, considering that if you fail in your farm then you lose money and if you succeed every hour you spend working on your farm you get about minimum wage.
