    Siblings sue mother for $50,000
    A brother and sister have sued their own mother for $50,000 on the grounds of bad parenting.

    The actual crimes however are somewhat questionable, Kimberly Garrity was accused of everything from failing to take her son to a car show to phoning her daughter to come home from a party at midnight - hardly actions worthy of a lawsuit. Despite being represented by three lawyers, the siblings (now 20 and 23) failed to win their case.

    How greedy are some people... The worst part is the father represented to children in the lawsuit. Poor mother, spending so much time raising her children only to have them sue her for buying them gifts.

    Can someone explain how the bold part makes any sense... They have been married 10 years ago but then how did they file for divorce 16 years a go? wouldn't that mean that they filed for divorce before they married?

    It's really heartbreaking for the mother to have the husband and her beloved kids try suing her for such a ridiculous reason.

    That means that 16 years ago she filed for divorce, while they had already been married for 10 years.

    To the above, I think it would mean 26 years ago they got married, ten years later they got divorced, so they were married 10 years and divorced 16. The kids must have bad parents to be such brats to try to do this shit.
