Time between Reporting posts

Yesterday, I reported 6 threads (could have done more), that needed moving due to being in the wrong section for accounts. What was frustrating, was the fact I have to wait 60 seconds between sending each report. Why can't it be 30seconds, the same as a post, or even less like 15-20.

Obviously there would be more reports, but most are legitimate anyways. If you feel newcomers would abuse it, only give it to people with 1k+ Post Count, etc.

 

Support, it bothers me when this happens and I have to wait.

EDIT: Make it less like 400+ posts because I tend to report a large amount of posts.

 

It's not that big of a deal but if theres no reason why this shouldn't be changed, then i support it.

 

This has been suggested and denied before, it opens up the possibility of abuse. If you multiple posts to report, report the thread and link to all the posts that are counted as spam.

It was never a hassle before and it still is not a hassle now.

There's no use in modifying the time difference.

Simply report any posts that you feel is a nuisance and breaks a forum rule(s).

If there are multiple posts within a particular thread, simply state it in the report.

 

Just do this ^
It's a good idea and saves the hassle to worry about people abusing the system.

If the time limit were to end up being shortened a bit, (or taken off) then it would give people the 'perfect' chance to start spamming reports that staff members have to deal with. They already have enough as is.

I totally agree, is it something to do with the system cant taking that much information??? Because we are trying to help out the community here.

 

It should be lowered to half a minute instead of 1 minute.

I support, if there is no good reason not to.

It can be extremely annoying to wait.
And if someone abuses it, it is easy to tell as all reports are coming from him and can simply be archived.
If however he had a legitimate report, I am sure someone else would have reported it as well.

 

I never liked it when people would put URLs into spam reports. They don't hyperlink, and the way I would power through them, it would end up taking 3x as long just to copy+paste the link into a new tab and stuff. Maybe that was just me, though; maybe the current mod staff prefers it this way instead.

 

Well the reason I said to do this is because when I previously suggested this I was told by other mods to do it this way. Although I think it would probably be easier if they were in separate reports, apparently its the same either way

As for OP, I support, maybe down to 30 seconds, not any shorter though.

 

I don't really think it matters a lot. You shouldn't be report-hunting IMO, just report whatever you pass by. There's no real need for this, but if this is a lot of trouble for a lot of you, I guess it's not that much of a change.

 

It does have affected me more than once! I dislike it and I've skipped reporting some threads/posts because of this, a lower limit would be great.

 

I support this as well if it wouldn't be a problem. @Egu, there are mods for a reason, that is their job to do the reports.

 

I support, sometimes there are reportable posts close together.

 

Possibly allow donators to have a less time between reports? It should benefit some for reporting topics, yet lessen the risk of abuse.
