I have found a problem that needs to be addressed right now.

Some jealous members of Sythe are doing their best to get other members banned.

How so? Creating other accounts on other forums posing as Sythe members.

Moderators must be aware of this problem and must stop false banning people for this.

I have been banned for this a couple times and I see this pattern occurring.

I have done some research please look at this.

Just to name a few. I think mods should be careful before banning people just in case if there are imposters ruining our names.

 

Yeah. I believe the staff are already aware of this like FireZ since I did see one of those happen to him. Must be some mad kid who got banned and raged.

Just because your email is posted with same forum name in other forum doesn't mean it's you.

I've been thinking about it, framing this way is really easy.

 

I wouldn't worry about it to much, there would be some extensive investigation into something like this, especially in the case of someone like FireZ. The staff will determine whether or not each scenario is real or fake and things will be handled accordingly.

 

If it's really an issue I'm sure our admins and their admins would be okay with checking ips on both sites to verify if it's the real person or if it's an imposter.

 

Don't you need email verification to join forums? If so, then how can someone make an imposter name on a different forum, with the same email address, without the original user knowing about it?

 

They'd register with a different email and then post using the victim's email.

 

Its no big deal, nothing new since 2005
